How to Set Up Moon Phase Feature

The Moon Phase feature in Persify lets you select a specific date to show the moon’s phase on that day - creating unique and meaningful designs to celebrate love, life, and special memories.

The article below will guide you through the setup process for the Moon Phase feature:

Go to Artwork editor → Click on the + icon → Select Moon Phase

The Layer Settings section includes:

- Depend on another layer:

Enable this layer to be dependent on other moon phase layer, ensuring identical attributes.

- Default Setting

Select date: Select the default date you want to display.
Moon style: Select a default moon style to show in your design.

You can add a new moon style by clicking the Upload button.

A pop-up will appear where you can enter the style name, select the number of moon phases, upload a thumbnail for the style, and upload moon images corresponding to each phase.

Click on the text guide to view detailed instructions for uploading images to each moon phase.

Recommended file size: 1500x1500 pixel, max 10MB

To replace an existing image, click on the moon image and upload a new one.

After the upload is complete, click Save Changes to save your moon style.

To edit or delete an existing moon style, double-click on the style you want to modify. A pop-up will appear, allowing you to make changes or delete it.

Once a moon style is saved, the number of phases cannot be changed.Default moon styles provided by Persify are fixed and cannot be modified.

- Personalization

Allow buyers to personalize: Check this box to enable customization of the moon phase layer in your design.

MOON STYLE

Allow buyers to change styles: Check this box to offer a list of moon phase styles that you want to include in your design.
Moon style: Select the moon styles you want to include in your design.

When enabled, the options will appear in the Personalized Order section like this:

- Apply to all templates

Enable moon phase layer settings and features from one template to be applied to other templates with the same layer ID within the artwork.

To add a date that automatically updates when selecting a date for the moon phase, right-click on the moon phase layer → select Add Date Layer.

In the Layer Settings of the date layer, you can choose the date format you want to display on your storefront.

The Date Layer ID must match the first part of the Moon Phase Layer ID to ensure it updates automatically when the date changes.

On the Personalized Order section, the date will change automatically when you select your desired Moon Phase date.
