# How to Add Artwork for a Variant in Order

Items from products without linked artwork will be marked as having the **Missing artwork** status. To add artwork to an order item in Persify, please follow the steps below:

# Step 1: Open the order details

Go to the **Orders** section → Click on the **Order Number** of the order with missing artwork.

# Step 2: Open the Add Artwork interface

Click the **Add Artwork** button on the order item that needs artwork.

# Step 3: Select fulfillment method

You can choose between:
* **Manual Fulfillment** if you will fulfill the order yourself.
* **An integrated fulfillment** if you want to fulfill the order through one of Persify’s integrated partners. Currently supported vendors include **Printway** and **Dreamship**.

# Step 3: Select vendor product and assign vendor variant (For integrated vendors only)

* After selecting an integrated vendor, use the **search box** to find and select the product.

* Assign the vendor’s variant to the listing variant of the item you are adding artwork to

* Once a vendor variant is selected, its corresponding print area(s) will appear.

# Step 4: Select Artwork for the Listing Variant 

After setting up fulfillment, click **Next: Choose artwork** to proceed. You can either:
* Select an **existing artwork**

* Or click **Create new artwork** to add a new one

There are two options to create new artwork:

1. **Option 1: Import from PSD**

* Click the **Choose PSD File** button → Select your desired PSD file from your computer

After you select the PSD file, the system will process and convert it into an artwork. Once the process is complete, Persify will switch to the **Artwork Editor** screen, where you can begin editing your artwork.

2. **Option 2: Create from Scratch**

* The **Artwork title** will be auto-filled using your listing name. You can edit this if needed.
* In the **Artwork size** section, enter the width and height in pixels. This defines the size of the print file. If you are using an integrated vendor, the size will be pre-filled automatically.

* Click **Create artwork** to start designing.

After saving the artwork, you will return to the **Create Artwork **popup. 
Click the **Complete** button to finalize the setup.
